Dr. Amala Louis has spent 15 years in UK and has over 12 years experience in Cardiology in UK and 7 yrs in India. He has performed over 10000 Angiograms and Angioplasty procedures over the past 19 yrs as an Interventional Cardiologist. Dr. Amala was the first to perform OCT guided Angioplasty in South India and first in Europe to use Telemonitoring in heart failure patients. He pioneered the Enhanced External Counterpulsation therapy (EECP) for patients with Angina in UK. He has been principle investigator and co-investigator for various multicentre international randomized control trials. Dr. Amala has presented and been a faculty at various European and American cardiac society meetings with several publications on various peer reviewed international journals. He was a Clinical Lecturer in Cardiology at University of Hull, Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital, Hull, UK for 3 years.
