Benefits of Breastfeeding

Breast feeding starts soon after delivery of the baby. This process of secretion milk is known as lactation. Lactation describes the secretion of milk from the mammary glands and the period of time that a mother lactates to feed her young. Colostrums’ is the first milk a breastfed baby receives.

Early 2 days is the secretion of colostrums; these secretions are the best immune booster for the baby.
